Folks be advised that Prime Minister Thomas intervened and held discussions with the RGPF regarding the many restrictions placed on carnival fetes and as such the "big shows" will end at 6am and the various parish events (jump ups) will go on as planned with RGPF monitoring supervision. Again, this does not mean that there would not be a police presence at the various events.... And, it is not an excuse to break the law either. The RGPF will be out in FULL FORCE so don't use the Prime Minister's intervention as an excuse to give trouble and create problems. |
