i do agree that theres still room for enforcement when it comes to under age people getting in to the fetes but again i do not believe the nightclubs should be the ones taking the brunt of the blame and for the record we do try our best to keep out the under age kids.what people have to understand that there are indeed laws that govern our country and sometimes it is these same laws that allow for some of the problems we face.
then there are other issues such as this example one time a lady came up to me and pointed out another lady in the party and told me i should be ashamed to have allowed that person into the fete because she was a school child going to a secondary school i immediately went to the person and started to question her only to find out she use to go to the school yes but had left that school two years prior and has held a job in a bank ever since.
the fact is grenada is indeed unique in the sence it is one of the very few places where people of all ages (adult wise) can be found in the same spots in terms of nightclubs and this has always been the case. i remember as an 18 yr old we would make sure to be at sugar mill to get in early and people my parents age made up most of the numbers in the clubs back then.
finally no matter what the circumstance the bulk of the responsibility lays with the parents to bring up their children correctly and if somehow ones child was to go astray and was caught the way he/she is disiplined will go along to to either getting them back on track or sending them further astray.
