Subject: where are the parents?

last night a 13 yr old boy came from another establishment where he was partying until after 1 in the morning comes accross to our venue and proceeds to try and break through the restuarant walls in attempt to try and gain access to our venue? he was immediately caught by our police security who escorted him off to the police station, but not after he did significant damage to our property in his attempt to gain illegal entry
my point here is where are the parents? some weeks ago one of my security apprended a another youth who was 17 (looking more like 25) who had pick pocketed a student this person turned out to have connections to an embassey in grenada and low and behold the concern wasnt even about the boy being a THIEF but the parent seemed more concern that somehow he got onto our property?
grenada is getting hard but i think more so than at any other time parents need to get involved in their kids lives.
we can provide as much extra security as we want but in these hard times if one of these diviant youths got caught by lets say someone they were attempting to rob who lets say was a person with a short temper (instead of by our security) who happenned to have a gun you might end up with a dead child rather than one who needs a parent in their lives.
