Listening to a radio station in grenada this evening..i heard the C.O.P.AT A NEWS CONFERENCE talking about the young guys who wear their pants realy low on the behind.....NOW ..really...thats a major problem in GRENADA?...IS THERE A LAW against that? and if not, why is the police getting involved in ordering those kids to pull up their pants?''dont get me wronng!..i hate it to the MAX!..however i look at it as going down a slippery slope ,when police are allowed to determined the dress code of our country!....what next?...what if a girl wears a halter back top and her breasts happen to spill out from the sides?.does the police order her to go home and get dressed?...what happens if a young man refuses to pull up his pants?....from the tone of the commish....it sounds ominous...."we will show them where their waist is">>..what!!!??ok!..what if a young lady decides to wear her pants really short?....what happens?...i totally understand the need for some decency in public....but its not like these young men are exposing any body parts...and as i stated before i HATE this so=called style....i think its idiotic! however i still dont want police telling any citizen of my country how to dress as long as that person is not exposing any bare body part...it just so strikes me as the type of things you see the police doing in those ISLAMIC states such as IRAN and other muslim countries! i think its a matter for the parents of those kids to enforce some type of rules at home.....just a thought!!!
